Lunkarya
Pronounced Lunka-ree-a. This is swedish for sheep :) This is a relatively new breed in the UK although it has been around in Sweden for a number of years. Lunkys are from the Peruvian line (Long hair), although the coat has a curl in it. This results in a coarse long haired piggy that looks quite unkempt or windswept. They often have corkscrews and spikes in their fur. Their coat is unlike texel, merino etc as the coat is coarse like a rex. I have found that this means they don't tend to get bits stuck in their coat, so do not require the intense grooming of some of the other long haired breeds, although some grooming is still required.
Sows
Tonks - Born 19th September 2011
Tonks is a fantastic saffron, chocolate, tan and white sow. She is only a baby at the moment, so it will be interesting to see how her coat develops, as Draco's now looks completely different from when he was a baby.
