Welcome to Rockliffe's Cavies and Rabbits
My name is Naomi. I love my pets! I am a slave to the following - Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Jack Russell, a syrian hamster, a chinese dwarf hamster, koi and other pond fish. I am also a slave and hobby breeder of guinea pigs, based in Droitwich Spa, Worcestershire. These adorable animals have a special place in my heart. I keep guinea pigs as I love them to bits - not to make a profit. I take pleasure in giving them lots of love and attention, and any money I make goes straight back in to the care of the piggies.
Although I am interested in showing my guinea pigs I breed them to be healthy and happy, and as long as they are then I'm happy!
If you have never had a guinea pig as part of your family then they are well worth considering, however as with any pet they require certain care and attention. Please do not take on a pet if you are not able / prepared to give it the love and attention that it deserves.

About Guinea Pigs
Guinea pigs are also known as cavies. They are very sociable animals and love interacting with other guinea pigs and humans alike. As with all pets they all have their own personalities. Some love cuddles and others aren't so keen. You will find that some guinea pigs are very timid and will take some time to trust you, where as others are very brave and adventurous and will trust you straight away. It is well worth the effort to put the time in with these lovely animals, and in my case I have often found it more rewarding when a timid piggie finally shows signs of trust and comes to you for the first time for example. One thing that they all have in common is they love to talk! They squeak at their owners when they think they may be getting food, or want food, or just to remind you that they are there!
Bunnies
I have recently become the proud owner of 2 adorable bunnies and had my first litter of baby bunnies :) See my rabbit pages for more photos etc.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my site. Please have a look around and feel free to contact me should you wish to be added to the waiting list for guinea pigs :)
